September 2007
Chris Dunning is to take on a more extensive role within the business. The aim is to expand the business in respect of both organic and non-organic wines.
When you call in it is most likely that it is Chris’s face you see (it can’t be all good news!)
Chris has a plan of events coming up. The start is a wine tasting at the Greyhound Hartshill Road, Newcastle-under-Lyme – this pub has recently undergone major refurbishment and it’s the new Titanic pub. The theme will be organic wines (our core business). There is a small charge (refundable if you order some wine) as is normal in these events and there will be some snack food available. We hope you can come along and enjoy the friendly easy style so well developed by Keith and the others. Taste wine, enjoy it, discuss the differences; find new favourites perhaps. October 2nd 2007 7pm to 9pm.
Directions: leave Newcastle heading for Shelton and Stoke (the town, not the city!). The Greyhound is on left by a new roundabout under construction.
Our next event will have some new wines made especially to accompany spicey food.
Our new website is under construction.
ROG, REG AND PAUL
Natalie will continue to run wine tastings as necessary and we will not be losing our panel of helpers. Roger Walley and Paul Breuer, who have helped us these last few years, will still be providing cover as and when they can. Together we’ve made the Hassell Street premises a haven for wine lovers (and people who enjoy a chat!). We’ll continue to do so!
OPENING
Wine2You at 104 Hassell Street will continue to be open on Fridays 10.30 - 5.15 and Saturdays, 10.30 - 5.15.
